Terry started his illustrious career at the age of
four as a child actor. In 1954 he performed in twp movies,
the first “Dance with me Henry” starring
Abbot and Lou Costello; the second “Trooper Hook”
starring Barbara Stanwyc and Joel McRae. “Trooper
Hook” still plays occasionally on late night television.
Terry also acted in a string of TV shows and commercials
from The Lone Ranger, The Millionaire, The Tennessee
Ernie Ford Show and The Art Linkletter Show. His commercial
credits include Pillsbury, Franco American, the first
Jiff Peanut Butter commercials in 1960, a Cracker Jack
commercial with Johnny Crawford from the Rifleman and
Jay North from Dennis the Menace.
Retiring from show business, by honorary withdrawal
from AFTRA and Actors Screen Guild at the ripe age of
eleven, Terry pursued another passion of his, music.
He studied music from age 6 to 14 on Piano, Organ and
guitar and has played professionally from 1964 to present
in a group managed by Bill Medley of the righteous Bros.
Terry toured with legends such as Ike & Tina Turner,
Little Richard, Louis Prima, Sam Buttera, James Brown,
Jose Feliciano, The Fearson Foursome, Freddy Fender,
War, Tower of Power, Manhattan Transfer, Trini Lopez,
Tom Rotella and many others.
Terry’s has album credits with recording artist
such as Clayton Rose, Leff Rodgers, Apple Jacl, good
News, Froce, heathens, Scandal, Churchill Downs all
on keyboards and vocals. He also has lead vocal album
credits with Mick Terry.
Today Terry brings talents and experience with him
to accompany local Los Angeles and Orange county bands.
